I have a 2005 Toyota Matrix XR 5-speed manual with 117,000 miles. After getting it used two years ago at 101,000 miles, I've had persistent EVAP error codes, but the one that won't go away is P0456. I've replaced the gas cap twice, changed the air filter, MAF sensor, and EVAP vent solenoid. Recently it's been hard to add fuel to it and the pump keeps clicking off every few seconds while fueling even when the tank is nowhere near full.
Could these problems be related and how can I fix them?
