Today I tried to shift my transmission from park to reverse, it made a loud sound that it seems like something came off. And now when u shift the gear it won't get into other gears and there is no pressure from the gear shifter when u try to down shift it to any gears.
Any idea would be great.

Is there a possibility that the shift cable came loose or broke?

Check your transmission fluid

I checked the tranmission oil and it looks good. In fact it look A little too much oil. Will too much tranmission oil cause that issue i am experiencing?
