2005 Toyota Sienna, 209k miles (not AWD), runs like a champ. Recently the gear shifter on center console has a lot of play. The shifter feels like a Ms. PacMac joystick. once in gear it stays in gear but curious if im headed for some big transamission failure. Also to get in drive its push right and down. And immediately left of drive is 4th gear ( which i never use). but if i was to shift to 4th gear the gear stick shift immediately moves right and back to drive. Thoughts?

Check the linkage for looseness of missing fasteners.
