Hi Scotty,
I have a 2005 Toyota Tacoma V6 with around 180,000 miles on it. I have noticed sometimes when accelerating that around 2500-3000 RPM range the truck will briefly lose a bit of its power. It is almost like it hesitates slightly in this RPM range but will keep going just fine after this brief power loss. I only experience this issue in third and maybe fourth gear. I have a clean air filter, spark plugs changed less than 12,000 miles ago, oil changes every 5,000 miles, and is driven regularly.

Fuel filter. Check fuel pump pressure.
