Thank you for having this forum, Mr. Kilmer.
I own a 2005 VW Beetle Convertible 2.0 Automatic Transmission. 138000 km. And if read it correctly, OBD stated that my fuel mixture was lean. But i have to admit, my OBD connector is one of those very cheap attachment.
One nite, driving home from work, I noticed i was running really low on fuel. I was lucky to make it to the station. Next day, sitting idle at my friend's driveway, the engine quit on me. Tried to start her up immediately but no dice. Sat there 10 mins. and gave it a try and she started up like her normal self. Heading home, 10 mins into my drive, she stop running at a red light. Again, had to wait 10 mins and she starts back up again. When i arrived back to my house, after waiting 10-15mins. I started the engine to see how long she runs until she quits on me. 15 mins of idling, she stopped. Waited 10 mins and she starts. If it was the fuel pump or the Fuel filter, i would think it would not run for 15 mins. This car trouble has me Puzzled. Please Help...!
Sincerely Jerry
