Hey, I just bought a 2006 GMC 4x4 Canyon in September and so far it's amazing and runs smoothly with no current problems or engine light. It has the 3.5L Vortec 3700 'I believe' inline 5 engine and so far heard solid results on different platforms. It's my first ever vehicle and earned it. I was looking and doing lots of research on what I should add to the exterior and interior without sacrificing the beautiful chrome bumper and I already got brand new white reflective headlights. It has about 108750miles
I am not a Jan fan but those with those inline engines are actually pretty decent vehicles aside from the normal fuel pumps will break blower fans will melt and need replacing but they can last quite some time. You can modify it anywhere you want just don't go too overboard
