Hey Scotty ! , I have 2006 Avalon, I had a mechanic make sure it’s good before buying it, the car is amazing, but when I watched the video about the Avalon and the maxima, I found out the the 2006 is one of the worst model years, I want to know if this is just a few recalls and if there is anything to do or not do to make it last, I really like the car

Overall it is still a very good car. Given that yours has checked out O wouldn't hesitate to buy it.

I would probably avoid 2006 because those years have had their fair share of engine problems with oil leaks. I would look at 2007 or newer Toyota Avalon since they fixed the issues.
