Hey Scotty, Ive had an 06 bmw 330i for a while now. It’s an automatic with 135k miles. When my foot is on the brake at stoplights or whatever, the RPMs usually idle around 1.5. But recently when when the car is idling the RPMs increase to 2.5 for a few seconds, then go back down to around 1.5 again. Check engine light comes on and off at times because of it. My mechanic says it could be the ICV valve especially on these BMW’s but I wanted your take on it. Thanks.

Well you have a vacuum leak somewhere try my video finding engine vacuum leaks with a cigar
