2006 Chevrolet Silverado when on AC sometimes Blows hot on driver side cold on passenger side can cut the truck off and restart and ac blows cold on both sides?

It sounds like the contacts of your driver's side blend door actuator are worn.
It's just above the transmission hump under your dash. (easiest one to get to)
If you replace it, remove the 10 amp HVAC control module fuse in your underhood fuse box for a couple of minutes and then reinsert it. That will recalibrate the blend door actuators.

If turns out not to be the blend door you can get that kind of symptom when refrigerant is low because the evaporator will not cool evenly.
