There is a 2006 Silverado in town here, has 120,000 miles and the owner is asking 5 grand for it. I know Chevrolet isn't known for the best quality... just want some imput.

Is it 1/2 ton, 3/4 ton? The mid 2000s Silverado’s aren’t to bad. Of course condition of the truck matters. I’d still try to negotiate the price and see what the owner says. Definitely could be a decent work truck, I wouldn’t daily drive it though. Just really depends on what your plan is if you purchased the truck.
I was skeptical but it is a 1/2 ton. I will tell him to look for something else because all it will be doing is driving back and forth from work. It also does not have 4WD
