Scotty,
My sons 2006 chevy trailblazer idles fine in park, but when I put it in drive it is rough. I cleaned maf, throttle body, new plugs, gasket and vvt sensor. I have had no codes pop up.

When vehicles don't idle right under a load that is often a problem in the torque converter because it's just freewheeling and Parker neutral but it's engaged in drive. Check that first or have a pro do it and if it is that you could live with it
