2006 Chevy Uplander Beeps Non Stop

I have  a 2006 Chevy Uplander van with 249k miles with no problems till now.  The car beeps continuously while driving.  The van has a reverse sensor that beeps when you are close to hitting something like the trash can in your driveway.  For the first time it is now beeping all the time while driving forward.  What's wrong?

I live in north Indiana could snow or ice cause the sensor to do this? Where is it?

The sensors should be active while you are in reverse gear, I would check the wiring first to make sure there is no short.
