Scotty, what do you think of the 2006 Ford expedition with the 5.4 Triton? should I buy one for my first car?

If you enjoy dealing with serious and very expensive engine problems it could be just the thing for you. (To be fair, if it was scrupulously maintained and mileage (which you failed to mention) is not too high they can sometimes be OK, but that's going to be very tough to determine on a vehicle that's pushing 20 years old.)
