So I got a 2006 Ford Fusion, no misfires are popping up, but when I go up hill or speed up, it revs up too 3-5 thousand RPM then kick and shift back down and go back to normal and drive okay till I speed up and go up hill again. The transmission is dirty, but my auto shop told me not to change the filter and fluid cause I’d loose 4Q and not to do a flush which I already knew. Back of my mind I thought maybe ignition coil or something. I ain’t finding any metal in the transmission fluid but it is dirty. I just got the car in October and kinda finding out they didn’t upkeep very well

No my car revs and it still speeds up just fine, it goes up to 3-5 rpm then just kicks and goes back down and drives just fine, nothing interferes with my speed and can speed just fine. Just the RPMs just go up and then go back down once it shifts back at 3-5 rpm.
If I understand you correctly that sounds like normal automatic transmission operation.
For info on whether it is safe to change transmission fluid or not see our FAQ.
If what you are saying is the engine revs up but the car doesn't move any faster, your transmission is toast.
