My brakes were making a squealing sound, and I figured it was due to the excessive rust, so I had my rotors and pads replaced.
The squeal was no longer there for a few days, but then it came back. It starts to squeal when I begin to press on the brakes lightly, what could be the issue?
Do you replace with the same brand of pads? It could be the pads are.of lower quality.
I replaced the pads before w/ Duralast ceramic pads and the same issue.
With the brake job that was done, I had used parts from 1A Auto, I figured they were good quality

Did you actually suffer from any brake performance issues or did you go out and buy new parts all because you saw rust?
