I'm interested in buying a 2006 Honda CRV EX Sport AutoTrans AWD 2.4L 4 cyl with 153000 miles on it (247000 km). It looks OK and dealer is asking 5K Canadian certified. Good buy or not? Thanks: Dave
Honda's reliability goes back and forth. I wouldn't buy from a dealer because they are ripping you off. You also said it looks "OK". I would look at something else. You also didn't mention any rust on the vehicle and there probably is rust on that car from all that mileage.
if it's not a rust bucket not too bad.

Have your own mechanic check the car. Do not trust anybody and a certified thing.
This CRX has no rust but maybe bodywork? When I said a dealer has it, I meant a local used car dealer not a dealership. He probably bought this at an auction for about 3K?
If you decided to buy the car, try to lower the price because of the body work.
