Hey Scotty, got a 2006 Lexus GS300 with 97k miles and got a P0751 code. No prior issues. Felt a jerk during light acceleration and trans would not shift past 4th gear now. Could this be low trans fluid? Any advice?

Why not check it and see? That vehicle is pushing 19 years old. When is the last time the transmission was serviced? What is the condition of the fluid?

@chucktobias Yup, getting off work in a couple hours and will check the level. Service was done 12k miles ago at 85k miles. Looking for advice on what else to check. Thanks.

@chucktobias It was low on fluid so I added more. Seemed to help for about 20 miles and it came back. Now I plan to change the Trans filter. Hope that works.
