Hi All:
I recently re-adhered the driver window glass to its rear clip and thoroughly cleaned and lubed the window track. Now works flawlessly.
Hearing a bit of noise from the passenger side, I also cleaned and lubed its track. Both glass clips look fully adhered--I added some adhesive to the rear clip preventively. Nonetheless, I'm still hearing some kind of clicking as though the window is hanging up on something on its way down. Up works smoothly, although the motor seems to keep turning even once the window is fully up. Any guesses as to what's happening? I'm stumped.
Thanks for any thoughts or suggestions.
Dave
Well, if it sounds like it's turning when it's up, it generally means that the gear on the motor is wearing out. Take it apart and look at it
Valuable reply. Thanks! I'm wondering if a worn gear could also explain the hitch in the window going down...
