I have a 2006 sienna fwd with over 170k miles, and for the past few months there has been an odd groaning noise at low speeds and at idle. It tends to be really apparent when the a/c is on. Under normal cruising speeds you don't hear it. It doesn't sound the same as a power steering pump noise, cause the sound doesn't really change when I turn the steering wheel.

Well turn the AC on and off. It's a groaning goes away when you turn the AC off. It's the compressor starting to go out
