Hey scotty I have a 06 toyota avalon with about 96k miles on it and it makes this weird noise only on cold startup first thing in the morning. I added lucas oil treatment which sometimes does make the noise sound better and almost gone but most mornings it sounds really loud and bad like oil isn't lubricating fast enough. Can you tell me what is causing the problem and a possible solution? I want to fix it now before it created a bigger problem in the future.

The noise is likely the timing chain clattering until the oil pressure builds up and it's better lubricated. That doesn't sound like typical valve chatter (prior to establishing good oil pressure). Those are good, durable cars. Not having access to the car's history, I can tell you those chains usually last much longer. If keeping the car, try ATS oil carbon cleaner first. It might completely solve the issue. If not, have a new timing chain kit installed.
