yes i have a 2006 Toyota corolla ce with automatic , and was wondering if i change the transmission fluid just a drain and refill , the owners manual says to add 3.2 quarts of new atf fluid , but what i don't understand a lot of people on the forums and online says its around 3.5 quarts instead of 3.2 quarts if that's the case why doesn't Toyota correct the amount to 3.5 quarts instead of 3.2 the Haynes manual says 3,2 quarts so does alldata diy says 3.2 quarts there's nothing saying its more than 3.2 quarts , ok thanks for helping
Your car has a transmission dipstick. Use that to make sure you have enough fluid.
Instead of downvote, Google search, Here:

So start with 3.2qt and check the level (correctly). If it needs more then add some.
