Hi,

I have a 2004 Toyota Highlander V6 4WD with 165k in NYC and am very happy with it. We need a second family car for 2 adults and 2 kids with cargo space. Which car is more reliable and better overall?

2006 Toyota Highlander V6 4WD with 150k miles

OR

Honda Ridgeline V6 4WD with 150k miles?

You can find both for roughly $7,000.

Thanks in advance.

Stan from NYC

Do you need another SUV/truck? Or are you better off with a RAV4 or CR-V and enjoy sedan like gas mileage?

Anyway, Scotty’s recent opinion of a 2006 V6 Ridgeline -

If you want extra cargo space go with a Highlander or as @itwt said cr-v or Rav4. If you need an actual truck then Toyota Tacoma. To me the Ridgeline isn't a full truck like the Tacoma is.
