Hi, please does my 06 solara have a timing belt? the internet says it's supposed to have a timing chain? The hood says 2AZ-fe, and the cover says of the engine says vvt-i 16 valve.
Please help

I could show you pictures, does it have a belt as well? For other stuffs? Cause I see a belt under the hood

Of course it has a belt to drive accessories like the power steering, water pump and alternator. The timing of the engine is controlled by a chain, sprockets, tensioner and guides. If there is ever any question, go to the auto parts website and put in your VIN number for the most accurate information.
It looks exactly like this. Was just making sure. It had a timing Chain somewhere for the engine
