Hello me again lol with another 1 but umm we got a code p0420 catylst below threshold... Did the Altimas 2.5L do they have 2 cats or 1 cat and were is it located??? i wanna say it's bolted on to the exhaust manifold right in the front of the engine??? Or do i have to jack the car up to replace it Ima do it yourself so I'm need of a little help??
Not sure about how many, you have at least 1, a p420 doesn’t necessarily mean the cat is bad. I’m pretty sure it’s more than likely you’ll be on your back if you decide to attempt the repair, good luck.
Oh ok i mean that's the only code popping up and i looked at videos and it says the 1 in the front bolted to the head of the engine is the cat on them cars.
It may not always be the cat for P0420. Check here for other things it can be (and rule those out before replacing the cat which can be expensive):
