I have a 2007 jeep compass with the 2.4l that has 203,000 miles. We're having some problems with the CVT transmission where it shows that it is overheating after 45min - 1 hr of driving, typically on the highway.
codes I pulled are as follows - P0777, P0741, P0712, P0730, P0218, P0700
despite the high mileage, I am pretty doubtful that the transmission needs replaced. The fluid is clean and does not smell burnt, it drives perfectly normal when cold and doesn't slam into gear when changing gears
any and all advice is appreciated, thank you

Just pray that you only have to replace the sensors or solenoids. If not, then you may have bigger problems foreshadowing.
