Hi Scotty....Looking at a 2nd vehicle and wondering your take for what a reasonable price should be for a 2007 Lexus ES 350 with 195k miles 3.5V6 and auto trans, looks to be in good shape. Thanks, Nancy

They suffer from sticky dash issue. Check the dash for that. Also, make sure your mechanic checks the car before purchase. It is a high mileage car and so you should make sure it does not need major repairs.

Well with this virus pandemic prices have gone insane the average price of a used cars now over $27,500. It's basically a seller's market you see what they're asking to see if you're willing to pay it or not

Asking price is $6900. Any trouble areas to look out for?

There’s nothing wrong with those ES models. However, it was part of a recall known as “unintended acceleration” where the floor mats may suddenly slide around and get onto the accelerator. Check if that was fixed.

It wasn't the floor mats. The electronic throttle control on the accelerator pedal would stick. There was a recall and replacement for this problem.

Thanks for the replies....Reading thru the carfax, it lived the first half of it's life in PA before making it to NC, so I'll be checking for rust first and foremost and if I see any any I'll walk away.
