2007 mazda 6 am radio

Scotty, 

I have a 2007 mazda 6, and when I turn my headlights on the AM radio turns to static. Doesn't happen with FM radio. Any ideas? Car shops in my area say they don't have any ideas.

do you have aftermarket headlights? LED perhaps?

I thought you have a problem with the antenna system FM will work without an antenna but I am has to have an antenna odds are you got a short system somewhere
