[Solved] 2007 Mercury Mariner Hybrid - Good or Gah!

Hi Scotty! My 2001 Toyota Camry with 188K miles was stolen. I have been looking at cars in the range of $3K-$7K (so I can pay cash) that have low miles. I like the idea of buying an American brand that was actually made IN America (Nebraska plant), but I'd rather have a reliable, gas-saver than something that's a hunk of junk.

What is your opinion on a 2007 Mercury Mariner Hybrid w/ 83K miles? Good or Gah!

I would pass on that.  Buying a higher mileage used hybrid is not a good idea.  If you really want to get a hybrid, stick with Toyota as they make the best hybrids and typically have the fewest issues with them up to 150,00-200,000 miles. See below:
