I inherited a 2007 Nissan Caravan Coach Silkroad VX van from my father when he died in April this year. It was imported from Japan by him in 2018, so I am assume that he was the second owner. It is rear wheel drive and has an automatic transmission. I checked the dash and this morning and it has 130,088 kilometers or 80,833 miles. I do not know if the transmission fluid was ever changed before but I want to know if you all think I should change it now at this mileage as I am desirous to do this to maintain it the van and keep it running good? Would changing the transmission fluid in my van now be a wise thing to do? It currently doesn't give me any problems.
I would change the fluid and filter now to be safe.
Thanks.
