Good morning Scotty!!!
I am the owner of a 2007 Toyota Avalon with 160,000 miles. Recently, I noticed a mysterious rattle coming from the passenger side. It sounds muffled like it could be from inside of the dash. My father thinks it could be a cabin filter, but I think it is either a strut, or bumper. Online, I saw forums stating that it could be coming from the moonroof or passenger A-pillar, but I am not sure. Please help.

There are too many things in a 14 yr old car which can knock/groan/rattle.
If its the A pillar, it should be an easy check by either taking it off or whacking it & check if the noise appears.
If it’s coming from outside the car, check for cracked/worn out suspension mounts/bushings.
