Hi Scotty,

I have a 2007 Prius it has 268,000 miles. It runs and drives fine other than the dash lights won't come some times. There are several post on You Tube saying to disconnect the battery to reset the computer. There are other post saying to leave the door open and turn the light on and off then try starting  Sometimes it works and sometime it doesn't. I don't want to take the car to the dealer because it will cost a fortune and the car is old. Is there a way to fix it permanently without breaking the bank?

Thank,

Charles Rohmer

Well those are exceptionally complex vehicles those hybrid cars but the only cheap thing you could try is have the low voltage battery in the trunk tested when they're weak sometimes they do that
