2007 Toyota Solara SLE air-conditioning only works when my 07 Solara is in the garage in the shade during the day when I’m out in the sun, it will not come back on
OK, still chipping away at this air-conditioning problem so the last thing we did if you were keeping an eye on my postings, the mechanic went underneath the dashboard on the driver side said my fans didn’t sound like they were working. There’s a sensor in there some kind reading he said so low he ordered me pot. He closed the back up for a couple days so I came back he left. I slammed the door in the air-conditioning came on so I was thinking last thing touched was the sensor under the dashboard box so I’m here now we’re gonna put it in but the AC stopped working again after three or four days. I noticed she does come on when the cars in the shed which is like a garage. It’s cool in there. I’m in the Catskill mountains where it’s already cool, supposedly this part we may consider that as anyone ever experienced this AC problems replace everything from the nose to that switch under the dashboard ambient temperature sensor might be next. Any thoughts?

More detailed information is needed. Things such as "There’s a sensor in there some kind reading" doesn't tell us anything.
Since we don't know what else has been done with your AC system it's back to basics. What are the system pressures? Does the compressor engage? Is your blend door operating properly? Has the system been tested with a bidirectional scan tool?
