When is it a good time to change the thermostat on my vehicle does anyone know? I am the second owner of this vehicle I don't think the first owner replaced it. Does anyone know I should think of getting replaced now how much mileage does the original thermostat start giving in? Thank you!

I always change out the thermostat when I replace the old coolant with new, approximately every three years or when the coolant tests worn out with the floating meter.
