Heat not working

Topic starter

I have a 2008 Chrysler PT Cruiser 137000 4 cylinder with automatic transmission. I have replaced the thermostat and trying to get the air out of the cooling system. I’ve purchased a funnel tool and I’ve cracked open the bleeding screw and thought I had this licked.  It still burps and the heat doesn’t get warm. I have taken it to the shop and it’s still not working properly.  I’m at my wits end.

Have you checked to see if your heater core is clogged? Does your vehicle have a heater core shutoff valve that may be malfunctioning? Is your blend door working?

are the heater hoses hot? You could have a stuck blend door.
