Hi, I have a 2008 Crown Vic police interceptor. It runs and drives very good. With about 119k miles and only 300 idle hrs as it was a detectives car. I found the car has a torque converter drain plug and I was wondering if it would be a good idea to try and change most of the fluid with Amsoil's signature series ATF? The transmission shifts perfectly fine, I had the fluid and filter changed 2k miles ago. They told it was the first time the fluid had been changed, it was factory sealed.

I would count your lucky stars that you have a good tranny on them used p71 an honestly I would not suggest you do that especially with the mileage just change the filter and fluid from the pan every 25 to 30k miles
