2008 Ford Explorer Eddie Bauer 4.6L V8

Will come from a family member who's taken great care of the vehicle. Has around 105k on the original motor and transmission.

What's your opinion on this V8 and transmission?

Long lived unless it has been doing a lot of heavy towing.

Did these suffer from the spark plug issues?

I don't think so. That was the 5.4, for sure.

Drive it easy and keep the oil changed and it will be a great truck.
