Scotty i got a 08 Ford F-250 with a 6.4 Diesel with 248000 miles on it. I hear these engines have issues. Im worried. If it goes bad is it prudent to replace it with a Cummins 5.9 12 valve? I like the truck so I want to keep it.

Well swapping and out to a Cummins would be a giant job requiring all kinds of modifications. But if you happen to know of a mechanic who does such work and has done it in the past he would have good experience and know exactly what to do and that wouldn't be a bad idea if your engine eventually goes out
