Hi Scotty,  I hope you're having a good week.

I've been searching for a used, reliable car and finally the search paid off.  It was a private sale, 2008 (made in Japan) 1st Generation Honda Fit Sport with manual transmission,  single owner - a scientist couple of all people - that were pretty much OCD with maintaining care and regular service of the vehicle (has all the records too).  It has 159,000 miles - mostly highway miles due to out of state travel - no engine or body damage at all save for a few scuff marks on the bottom of front bumper.  I took it for a long test drive and ran an OBD scan, EVERYTHING checks out a-okay.

After getting burned on a dealership purchase over two years ago on a 2008 Toyota Camry with the defective 2AZ-FE, I've learned a heckuva lot from watching your videos over those years and wanted to reach out and thank you for what you're providing to us viewers in just being honest no matter if it offends people or not.  We need more guys like you in the automotive industry.

So with that said, thanks again friend.  I appreciate you.

You forgot about a pre-purchase inspection.

Even if the car has been properly maintained and never was involved in an accident,

at 160k miles, there's just so many things that can go wrong.

A pre-inspection was performed as well!
