Hello,
I have a 2008 Honda Odyssey with 184,000 miles. I am the original owner and actively maintain the vehicle.
Recently, I am noticing that when I begin to drive the vehicle from a stopped position to low speed - up to 30 mph, the steering wheel shakes from side to side, and a clunking noise comes from the front end/wheels area, especially when going over bumpy or uneven pavement. Once the vehicle reaches a higher speed >40mph this phenomenon stops.
I appreciate all that you do and any guidance you can provide.
Thank you! Brian Philip
This is a safety issue and should be addressed at a professional alignment shop as soon as possible. You obviously have worn and/or broken suspension components that need repair.
Obviously you have worn-out front end components. If you cannot check it yourself take it to a good mechanic ASAP, as @doc has recommended, before it gets bad enough to cause an accident.
