Hey Scotty,
I live in Clarksville, TN and can't find a shop close by that is comfortable working on a Maserati. I have a 2008 Maserati Quattroporte that is having an AC issue. Fan blows air but not cold. Also, there is a solid, non rhythmic noise that is similar to breaks scraping but happens whether or not the car is moving. The issue happened in this order: I smelled an electric/burning smell and then my AC stopped blowing cold air. Smell went away after about 5 min. I then let it sit parked for a few days and then drove it again for about 50 miles when the sound started. AC compressor/clutch? Any thoughts? Want to use my car on your show as an example of something NOT to buy? LOL
No problem I'd love to use it make a video with it but I'm in Rhode Island visiting the other grandkids I'll be back in June you want to bring it then I'll check it out free and make hilarious video
I don't know if I can wait until June, but I'm certain there will be something else wrong by then. I will definitely keep in touch! Have fun with the grandkids!
{black}:scared: {black}:scared: Update. Bad AC compressor. They want to replace it, belt tensioners $3800. They actually suggested an additional replacement needed but that was going to run the price up to $7500. {black}:crying:
Well, it's an Italian car, they always break.
I'll have you know my Fiat only breaks every other time XD
