I am trying to replace my oil pressure sensor on my 2008 ram 1500 with the 5.7 hemi. Everything I have read and the part I got needs a 27mm socket to remove. The one that is in there now takes a 3/4 inch. I removed the old one and tried to put in the new but it wasn't even close to fitting. I bought this truck used 4-5 years ago and was wondering what they might have done to have to use a different sensor. Also wondering what oil pressure sensor would use 3/4 in socket so I could maybe look into replacing it with that. Thanks for the help.

Did you use an OEM replacement sensor? Scotty has often said to replace sensors with OEM sensors. Check online with a Mopar site using the VIN and you should be able to get the correct replacement part.what oil pressure sensor would use 3/4 in socket so I could maybe look into replacing it with that
