Inquiring about the dreaded 2008 V6 model Honda Accord. It does have the known oil consumption issue that’s common. This vehicle seems to have a new leak of sorts every few month’s. It’s been to multiple mechanics that have changed this or that and the leak comes back. I bought the car for my son last June as he graduated high school and turned 18. After having two complete thorough inspection is done before purchasing a vehicle from today. Mechanical shops and everything checked out even had a state safety inspection done  before purchasing the vehicle. It’s head little things here and there go wrong however the dreadful only and all consumption has remained. Can anyone point us in the right direction as to a fix? It started throwing misfire codes so to fix that issue the car had a tube up and fresh oil change and filter her it is two weeks later it’s now throwing the same misfire codes and is low on oil. Any advice would Greatly appreciated. This car is lived by my son so I’m giving one last few attempts at trying to figure a fix before forcing him to sell.
