2009 Honda CRV Check Engine Light after mechanic's visit

I have a 2009 Honda CRV 4wd with 140,000 miles on it. We took it to the mechanic so they could find a coolant leak. Upon driving it home from the shop, the check engine light came on with the code P0507. The car was idling a little bit fast when I took my foot of the accelerater, while it was in gear.  The uatomatic transmission seemed to shift a little harder also. Any thoughts?

Hmm, … this code indicates higher RPM than expected, go for a drive. I think, … I believe radiator fan has to come on and the code vanishes (coolant temperature has to rich ~195 deg. F to flip a switch).

If not, check for vacuum leaks at: PCV valve and hose, EVAP canister purge valve, throttle body, intake manifold, brake booster hose and brake booster.

If all OK, idle should settle to normal, … I hope.

That codes for a throttle body so check it. It's really easy to check follow the air box back to the engine and its right there. Lot of times they just get dirty if that's not it you might have a leak in the air intake somewhere.  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NWCKvU2FmDc
