Hi! I've watched your videos & I think you're great - ty.
I have a 2009 Scion xD, manual with 138,700 miles. The driver door panel can open & close the 3 passenger windows (front & 2 back), but the switches on the individual passenger doors don't work. I've made sure the unlock switch is activated. I brought it to a Toyota dealer & they couldn't fix it & weren't sure what was wrong. That was in a different state, but I don't want to pay any dealership. I don't trust them & they're way too expensive, so I stay away.
I also have concerns about the airbag. I think it's Takata & I've those repaired in 2 other vehicles. This is something else I've talked to Toyota about 4 times & they just keep telling me there's no recall & not to worry. Yes I'm aware there is no recall which is exactly why I'm worried. What's your opinion?
Ty for your help. Enjoy your day 🙂

Take it to a competent auto electrician to see if the switches are broken or it's just a wiring problem. If there is no recall on your particular model about the air bags, forget it and move on.
