About 150 miles after getting oil changed at a local shop I got a check engine light with the p0015 code camshaft position B timing over retarded bank 1. I had synthetic oil used. I have checked oil level and it's fine. Should I start by trying to clean that actuator (what cleaner would work?) and then clear code?

You can try cleaning the actuator but often they break on those you have to replace it which is a pain in the butt.but if it runs okay otherwise you can often live with it I've customer drive them that way for years if they're not too bad
Thank you! I actually drove it some today and the light went off. I believe I'll try and have all of them cleaned if you think it's worth it. Or should I just wait and see if the light is triggered again?
