2010 Acura MDX 3.7L V6

Hello Scotty, I watched you video about the Acura MDX 4 cylinder turbocharged. You said those vehicles are bulletproof & last a while. The model I’m looking at has a 3.7L V6 inside & has 117k miles on the motor. Some say the 3.7L burns oil after 100k miles & finding replacement motors are hard to do. Should I take a risk on a luxury Honda for $4,900 if the motor burns a little oil, or will regular maintenance keep that from happening? (Assuming the car is in good shape)

Here's the thing. If the owner changed the oil regularly like I do every 5,000 mi or so they generally don't burn oil. But if they haven't they can burn oil. So have a mechanic check one out before you buy. Because all we have to do is pull out some spark plugs and if they have burnt carbon on them it means it's an oil burner then you don't buy it
