Hi Scotty I watch your YouTube videos and am a fan from the first video they are very informative thanks for all you do for the people..My question is I recently bought a used vehicle it is a 2010 BMW X3 28.I about 133,000 kilometres on it as I’m from Canada and noticed the coolant light keeps coming on and and when at a stop light it kinda feels like it’s idling rough until I start driving g again and haven’t put on a OBD scan tool on it yet and wondering if you know what this could be I am currently waiting for BMW coolant to be shipped to me as I checked the coolant and it isn’t low but really have no idea what it could be I would be greatly appreciated if you could help me with this issue or have any input ...Thanks William

I kind of feel for you because those x3s are generally one of the biggest money pits on the planet as they age.strange enough I read something the other day that over 85% of the Canadians who get BMWs do not buy them but lease them.now if you aren't low on coolant generally that means the low coolant switch is broken and it's telling you it's low and it really isn't but do check the connector on the plastic tank maybe it's loose.

I just bought a 2012 X-3 28i. [Alright Scotty stop laughing!]
within the first Month (still under dealer Warrantee); I discovered a Windshield Washer leak. It turned out to be a bad gasket {washer ?] checked with the Dealer Warrantee department. (I decided to replace the WW Pump as well; due to the location.] The dealer covered the cost of the Washer and that part of the labor. Would have been about $350. [
