Hi... I bought a 2010 chevy Equinox LT 2.4L. The problem I am having is that sometimes it start and sometimes it don't, it may start a few times in a row and then it may take a few tries before it start. today I change the Ignition switch and the problem remain, ok when I turn the key in the start position to start the SUV it turn over like normal, but when I put the key in the run position it will keep trying to start up for 5sec then it will stop, If I retry to start it up again it will not start, now if I try to start it up again it will start up with no problem and run all day if I don't turn it off. This is the problem I'm having I hope all this make sense, plz help!!!!!
That's GM for you with a crazy cars. Start by having the battery and the wiring test. It could be a week battery loose connector. Lots of things. Then pray it isn't some type of computer module starting to go out. Also have the ignition switch check. They often go bad on those and they can do that
