Scoth, i have a traverse, it runs good but every once in a while when i star drive, it get stuck on first gear, so i have to stop it put on park then in drive, after i do that, i wont have issues again, td a mechanic but he needs to see it happening, what makes it hard because it doesn’t happen all the time, shat can that be?

Those are horrible automatic transmissions and odds are yours is worn internally you might change the filter and fluid and pray that fixes it because rebuilding those things cost a small fortune and it could be that your internal automatic transmission oil pump is starting to go they will act like that
