I have a ticking sound coming from my engine from a cold start but after it warms up I don't hear it anymore. What could that be? I hope to hear from you soon and thanks.

Generally that's worn lifters

Lifters or possibly manifold bolts. My dads 17 rebel ticked like mad, turned out to be the bolts. They had a recall on the bolts however I don’t know how far back the recall goes. Pray it’s not lifters. Next oil change check and see if there’s any flakes or metallic pieces in the oil.

If you have hydraulic roller lifters, they are failing and eating your cam.  Requires pulling the heads to replace the lifters and cam.
